Volunteers play a vital role in helping Steps in Time create welcoming, joyful, and smoothly run events. Whether assisting with setup, greeting guests, supporting instructors, chaperoning youth dancers, or contributing to fundraising efforts, our volunteers help ensure that every program reflects care, professionalism, and community spirit.

Volunteer Role Descriptions

Volunteer Area	Description
Fundraising	Helping with donor outreach, sponsorships, event-based fundraising activities, in-kind donations, or grants.
Chaperoning	Supporting events, ensuring safety, and assisting with supervision during events.
Set-up / Tear-down	Preparing the venue, arranging décor, managing supplies, and helping restore the space afterward.
Hospitality / Greeting	Welcoming guests, assisting with check‑in, and helping create a warm, organized arrival experience.
Dance / Teaching Support	Assisting callers, instructors, or musicians with logistics, materials, or coordination.
Photography / Media	Capturing photos or short video clips for promotional use, when appropriate.
Administrative Help	Assisting with communications, data entry, or behind‑the‑scenes organizational tasks.
Other	Any skill or interest you’d like to offer that isn’t listed above.
